A Hird was a Viking Age retinue of armed companions.
Our modern Hird is a global organisation that draws inspiration from the ancient Hird, focusing on reconstructing Viking Age combat and life through comradery, enthusiasm and fun. 

A Hird will recruit members where it is located. 
Anyone who is 18 years of age, meets the requirements and is considered suitable can apply for membership in the Hird.
Gender, sexual orientation, race, culture, religion, or political views do not matter - unless they violate the Hird statutes and the membership agreement. 

Here are the steps to join the Grimfrost Hird:

2. Find a Chapter located near you.
3. Send them an email asking if they are recruiting new members.

Despite the current situation due to the pandemic, we are still delivering orders as usual with our standard DHL courier service. 
DHL has one of the world's largest transportation networks with their own airplanes and trucks that also play a key role in transporting medical equipment and medicine around the world.

DHL are following the guidelines and regulations coming from local governments to ensure the safety and health of their personnel and customers.
This may result in slightly longer delivery times in certain countries and/or regions where rules of quarantine etc. are in force.

Our customer support can assist you in Swedish, English and in German.
Please only write to us in any of these three languages in order to avoid unnecessary delay to your questions.

We often get requests from customers to translate runes for them.
When it comes to translating runes on our products then we can assist you.  

We are however not able to provide any translations of runes for other reasons due to time constraints.
If we tried to offer this service, we would simply not have time for much else.

We are working on it and hope to have wholesale options available in the near future, but we can't say with certainty if things will pan out.

The Shield Wall consists of Grimfrost's official ambassadors. They embody different aspects of Grimfrost, each representing us in their own unique way. 

If you have a minimum following of 1000 on Instagram and feel that you'd do a great job representing Grimfrost, then you can contact our customer support for further information.

We do not have other options for where you can purchase our products.
All of our products are sold directly on the website, with the exception of mead and ale due to Swedish alcohol laws.
