Why does my drinking horn smell, and what can be done to fix it?

Why does my drinking horn smell, and what can be done to fix it?

A burnt smell may occur at times if a horn has been wrapped up too soon after production.
Luckily it can in most cases be fixed quite easily.

In the event of this issue, please follow the steps below:
Use warm (not hot) water and a brush scrubbing out any debris left in the horn.
Put 3% hydrogen peroxide in the horn and let sit overnight.
Rinse it out very well and fill it up with beer or wine and let it sit one more night.
Rinse it out and hand wash and it should be taken care of.

It can also be a good idea to let the horn air out for a few days after following these steps.

In some instances it may be necessary to repeat the process.
If you still experience problems after following these steps, please contact our customer support.

Can I choose the style of my drinking horn?

Can I choose the style of my drinking horn?

As all horns are unique there will be variations in regard to the color and shape of such items.

If a customer has a preference for a certain shape or color of the horn, and lets us know the order number of their order once it has been placed, we can then ask our warehouse to try to select a horn which comes as close to the specifications as possible among the horns available in stock.

There is however no guarantee that there will be an exact match available in stock, or that we have the time required to handle such requests.
